Privacy Policy – Storage Ledger

Storage Ledger is a Salesforce app published by Elektraset, s.r.o. ("we", "us"). This policy explains what data the app uses and what we do with it.

Summary

Storage Ledger runs entirely inside your Salesforce org. It has no external server, and it does not send your Salesforce data to us or to any third party.
The app reads only metadata of Files, Enhanced Notes, Attachments and Notes (title, file type, size, version count, checksum, owner, dates and the records they are linked to). It never reads or copies the content of a file, note or attachment.
The results are stored in custom objects in your own org. You control them with Salesforce permissions, and you delete them when you uninstall the app.

All of this data stays in your Salesforce org, in the objects Storage Scan, Storage Item, Storage Allocation and Storage Snapshot and in the protected custom setting Storage Ledger Settings.

Email alerts

When an administrator enters alert email addresses, Salesforce sends the alert emails from your org with the Salesforce email service. The emails contain storage totals and the names of the largest Accounts or Opportunities. We do not receive these emails.

Data that we collect

We do not collect personal data through the app. The app does not use cookies, analytics or tracking, and it makes no calls outside your org.

If you contact our support, we use your name, email address and the content of your message only to answer you. We keep support emails for up to 24 months.

This website (https://storage-ledger.apps.elektraset.com) does not use cookies or analytics. Our hosting provider keeps technical web server logs (IP address, time, requested page) for up to 30 days for security.

Salesforce may share installation and license data of AppExchange apps with publishers (for example the org ID and the number of licenses) through the License Management App. We use this data only to manage licenses and support.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct and delete your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to data portability. Write to help@elektraset.com. You can also complain to your data protection authority; in the Czech Republic this is the Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů (https://uoou.gov.cz).

Data in your org is under your control: an administrator can delete Storage Ledger records at any time, and uninstalling the package removes its objects and data.

Security

The app follows the Salesforce sharing model: its objects are private, and only users with the Storage Ledger Admin permission set can see the results or start scans. Only metadata is stored; the content of files is never read.
